Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks within a single fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles.

Under supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager, you will tackle complex repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to keep drivers on the road. The role requires 5–7 years of heavy-duty truck experience, CDL is a plus, and ASE certifications are beneficial.

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.

• Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems for on-site and road repairs.
• Repair and maintain chassis components.
• Service refuse bodies including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics.
• Complete understanding of diesel fuel systems and diagnostics.
• Maintain suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• HVAC systems diagnostics and repair.
• Understand aftertreatment systems and REGEN diagnostics.
• Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools.
• Line maintenance, welding and fabrication.
• Identify malfunction sources using electronic tools.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
