Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment across a single fleet. You will work under supervision to diagnose engines, brakes, hydraulics, HVAC, and electrical systems, performing on-site and mobile maintenance and supporting drivers in routes.

The role requires 5–7 years of heavy-truck experience, with ASE certifications a plus. CDL-B preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and work with minimal supervision.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Repair chassis components, engines, brakes, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
• Perform on-site and road maintenance with diagnostic tools.
• Complete company training and participate in safety programs.
