Job summary

HOLT Group in Corpus Christi is seeking a mid-level Shop Service Technician 3 to perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment in our MAC shop. This role requires strong hands-on skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.

You will use hand and pneumatic tools, follow established procedures, and contribute to steady customer service while advancing through ProTech training paths and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Reading schematics and diagrams is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; diesel tech program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specifications using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment and components; ensures safety and quality.
• Mentors and helps train other technicians; documents repairs timely.
