Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; diesel tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specs using tools.
• Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components.
• Maintains safe, clean, and orderly work areas and adheres to safety policies.
• Completes parts orders and communicates customer needs to shop management.
• Mentors and helps train other technicians.
