HOLT Group in San Antonio seeks a Shop Service Technician 4 to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment. You will work independently or with a team, following procedural guidelines and company values.

This mid-to-senior role requires extensive hands-on experience and a proactive approach to maintenance and customer service. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of diesel repair experience, reads schematics, operates forklifts and overhead cranes, and mentors others.

Formación

• Seven or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams is preferred.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer specifications using hand, pneumatic, and specialized tools.
• Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components.
• Demonstrates strong customer relations and communicates needs to shop management.
• Plans and controls the cost of repair jobs and completes parts orders; identifies parts for return.
• Provides mentoring and training to others; maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Completes all repair documentation promptly and adheres to safety policies.
• Overtime may be required; participates in ongoing training and development.
