Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, Texas is seeking an Engine Shop Service Technician to teardown, inspect, and repair diesel and natural gas engines in a busy shop. You will work in a team to deliver high-quality service from teardown to reassembly, following manufacturer specs and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma (diesel schooling preferred), and tools to perform disassembly with hand and pneumatic tools.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical diesel schooling preferred.
• Must have hand and pneumatic tools and appropriate tooling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and assembly of industrial engines to spec using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Estimate, plan, and control cost of repair jobs.
• Process parts orders and identify parts for return.
• Keep work area clean and safe; follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with team to meet departmental goals.
• Overtime as required by workload.
