Job summary

TCS is seeking an experienced L3 DEX / Nexthink Engineer to own engineering and operational support for Nexthink or an equivalent DEX platform in a large enterprise environment. Location: Hyderabad / Delhi NCR, India.

The role focuses on translating endpoint telemetry into monitoring, diagnostics, automation, remediation, and measurable service improvements, collaborating with Customer L4/Architecture, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, Application teams, and vendors while retaining operational

Qualifications

Hands-on Nexthink administration or equivalent DEX platform experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows endpoint internals, performance, diagnostics.
Experience with Nexthink Query Language (NQL).
Scripting with PowerShell and Nexthink Remote Actions.
Nice to have Python knowledge.
Integration experience with ServiceNow, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Azure/Entra ID, Power BI.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage DEX platform configuration, collectors/agents, engines, portals, connectors, roles, content packs, and upgrades.
Develop and maintain investigations, remote actions, campaigns, dashboards, alerts, experience scores, and reports.
Troubleshoot endpoint performance, boot/login issues, application stability, and device-health using telemetry.
Design safe automated remediation with targeting logic, approvals, exclusions, rollback, and outcome validation.
Integrate DEX with ITSM, endpoint management, identity, and reporting platforms for incident enrichment and remediation.
Maintain data quality, privacy controls, retention policies, and platform performance at scale.
Identify recurring issues, quantify affected populations, and lead cross-functional problem investigations.
Provide dashboards, guides, knowledge articles, and shift-left use cases to enable teams.
Own complex L3 incidents, PRINV investigations, RCA, and permanent corrective actions.
Perform health checks, capacity reviews, trend analysis, and service improvements.
Plan and execute changes, releases, upgrades per ITSM/change control.
