GitLab Inc. is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to work with customers across the United States from a remote setting, focusing on installations, migrations, training, and advisory services.

You will lead engagements from simple Omnibus deployments to large IaC-based architectures, guiding customers toward secure and reliable GitLab workflows. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather feedback, drive continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers while

Competenze

• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration as code tooling.
• Experience with two or more cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Mansioni

• Deliver GitLab Professional Services engagements, including installation, migration, training, and advisory services across GitLab capabilities.
• Plan and execute deployments from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using IaC and Configuration as Code practices.
• Lead migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, driving secure and reliable workflows.
• Partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency and remove friction.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor translating goals into practical implementation plans and next steps.
• Interface with product and engineering teams to unblock outcomes and share feedback for improvement.
• Mentor Associate and Intermediate Professional Services Engineers to improve delivery autonomy.
• Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously, providing direction to other engineers.
