Job summary

OffSec is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable lab environments that power our cybersecurity training and certification programs.

This senior role collaborates with Security Researchers and Platform Engineers to create labs across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, enabling hands‑on learning for professionals worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing OpenStack in production
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Proficient in CI/CD using GitLab and IaC tooling
• Strong networking knowledge including VPNs, firewalls, and segmentation
• Experience with AI-driven automation and prompt engineering is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer multi-tier lab deployments for cybersecurity scenarios
• Build scalable, cost-optimized hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated lab deployment with GitLab
• Implement IaC across Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
• Ensure security, observability, and disaster recovery for lab platforms
• Enable self-service capabilities for content engineers to deploy labs
