Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Platform Engineer / Scrum Master to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting next-generation flight service and air traffic systems.

You will guide Agile/SAFe practices and design, implement, and improve secure software delivery pipelines, integrating security throughout the SDLC and collaborating with software engineers, cybersecurity, and solution architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/IS/Engineering with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Scrum Master within Agile/Safe environments.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing and administering GitLab CI/CD pipelines and runners.
• Experience administering GitLab repositories, branches, and workflows.
• Experience IaC using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes using Helm/GitOps.
• Experience scripting with Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and CLI.
• Experience with AWS cloud services for modern deployments.
• Knowledge of software supply chain security and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience integrating automated testing and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies and drive continuous improvement with metrics.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with PO, engineers and teams.
• Provide status, risk, and dependency reporting to the Release Train Engineer.
• Own deployment pipelines from build to production using GitLab and AWS tooling.
• Administer GitLab infrastructure and develop reusable CI/CD templates.
• Design automated deployment strategies for Kubernetes using Helm and GitOps.
• Configure GitLab Registry and artifact management for secure delivery.
• Collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners to ensure scalable deployments.
• Help dev teams improve build reliability, deployment quality, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot build failures and pipeline performance across environments.
