Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Platform Engineer / Scrum Master to join the Air Traffic Business Area, supporting FAA modernization of flight service infrastructure with scalable, cloud-based platforms and secure software delivery.

This dual role on a Scaled Agile team blends Scrum Master responsibilities with hands-on DevSecOps, including CI/CD, GitLab, and Kubernetes administration, in a security-conscious, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 2–6 years.
• Experience as Scrum Master within Agile/SAFe software development.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience administering GitLab repositories, merge requests, and permissions.
• Experience Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar.
• Experience deploying containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes) using Helm or similar.
• Scripting in Bash/Python and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and secure software delivery practices.
• Ability to obtain SF-85 Public Trust suitability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead all Scrum ceremonies and SAFe events.
• Remove impediments and drive delivery with Product Owner and developers.
• Own and operate automated build, test, deployment, and release workflows.
• Administer GitLab platform infrastructure and reusable CI/CD templates.
• Design automated deployment strategies for Kubernetes-based apps using GitOps.
• Collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners to ensure scalable, reliable cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment failures across dev, test, and prod environments.
