Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of secure software delivery platforms for mission-critical FAA deployments. You will own GitLab administration, CI/CD architecture, deployment automation, and developer enablement.

You will collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners and cybersecurity teams to ensure scalable, secure deployments, policy alignment, and rapid, compliant software delivery across multiple Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience designing and administering enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Experience developing and administering GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, templates, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes using Helm and GitOps.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash/Python.
• Experience supporting Linux environments and AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of software supply chain security and automated security testing.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead GitLab platform engineering, including projects, groups, runners, and permissions.
• Define enterprise CI/CD standards and reusable pipeline templates.
• Advance automated security, SCA, container scanning, and IaC security within CI/CD.
• Develop deployment patterns for Kubernetes via GitOps, Helm, and automated validation.
• Administer GitLab Container Registry and artifact management tools.
• Collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners to ensure scalable, reliable deployments.
