Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure software delivery pipelines across FAA-aligned programs. You will own GitLab CI/CD, Runners, and deployment automation while integrating security throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners, software teams, and cybersecurity personnel to meet operational and compliance requirements for mission-critical FAA applications.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation and operation of software delivery pipelines from build to production release.
• Develop, administer, and maintain automated build, test, deployment, and release workflows.
• Administer GitLab platform infrastructure and create reusable CI/CD templates and libraries.
• Integrate security tooling (SAST, SCA, container image scanning) into pipelines.
• Design deployment strategies for Kubernetes using Helm and GitOps.
• Configure GitLab Container Registry and artifact management solutions.
• Collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners for scalable, secure deployments.
• Improve build reliability and developer productivity through automation.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure lifecycle security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot failures and optimize pipelines across environments.
• Document pipelines, procedures, and standards.
