Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer to architect, build, and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment across hybrid cloud. You will deploy containerized applications with Kubernetes, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure via Terraform.

The role requires security-focused design and collaboration with cyber engineers to meet STIG and DoD requirements. Work will involve Windows AD, SCCM, and managing deployments in AWS/Azure, with a strong emphasis on high

Qualifications

Master's degree or BA/BS with extensive experience as described.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Hands-on Terraform IaC deployments in complex environments.
Proficiency building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
Experience designing automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Operational cloud experience in Azure and AWS.
Windows Server admin, AD, GPOs, SCCM experience.
STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security tooling integration.
Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance and U.S. person status may be required.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment.
Provision infrastructure with Terraform for scalable, repeatable deployments.
Deploy and manage containerized apps using Kubernetes with high availability.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across tools.
Administer Windows AD, SCCM, and related identity/configuration services.
Collaborate with cyber engineers on STIG evaluation and implementation.
Embed security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Support delivery objectives and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
