Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises seeks a GMD DevSecOps Engineer in Huntsville, AL to architect and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment. You will provision infrastructure with Terraform, manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes, and automate CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure.

The role requires extensive experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and secure DevSecOps practices, plus DoD compliance knowledge. Expect collaboration across cyber and infrastructure teams in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 20+ years.
• Hands-on Terraform for IaC deployments in complex environments.
• Proficient in building, deploying, and managing containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Operational experience in enterprise cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Windows Server administration, Windows Active Directory, GPOs, and SCCM.
• Experience in STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
• Experience with IDEs such as Code IDEs (e.g., Coder).
• CompTIA Security+ certification (required for baseline DoD compliance).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform for scalable deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps and microservices with Kubernetes for high availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to fully automate build, test, and deploy.
• Administer IDDE across hybrid cloud environments (AWS and Azure) including AD and SCCM.
• Embed security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to enforce security standards.
• Deliver on release objectives and create comprehensive product/infrastructure documentation.
