Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises in Huntsville, AL is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer to architect, build and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform and IaC best practices. You will deploy Kubernetes, design and automate CI/CD pipelines, manage hybrid cloud resources (AWS and Azure), and integrate security tooling to meet STIG and DoD compliance across pipelines and deployments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's with 20+ years experience.
• Hands-on Terraform for complex Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
• Proficient in building, deploying, and managing containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Experience designing automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on operational experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, and SCCM administration.
• STIG analysis and security/code scanning in pipelines.
• Active security clearance (SECRET or higher).

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, deployments.
• Administer IDDE across hybrid clouds (AWS and Azure), manage AD and tooling.
• Embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines and verify STIG compliance.
• Support deliverables, documentation, and complex deployment orchestration.
