Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises in Huntsville, AL seeks a senior DevSecOps Engineer to architect and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment. You will deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and design CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, tests, and deployments across hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure).

Must have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with extensive Terraform experience, and a Security+ certification. Excellent communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with 12+ years experience or Bachelor's with 20+ years.
• Hands-on Terraform IaC deployments.
• Proficient in building, deploying, and managing containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Enterprise cloud experience in AWS and Azure.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM experience.
• STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security tooling in pipelines.
• Experience with IDEs such as Coder.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps with Kubernetes for high availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, deployments.
• Act as system administrator within the IDDE across AWS and Azure.
• Integrate security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines (STIG alignment).
• Help deliver releases and document infrastructure and deployments.
