Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer to join the IDDE team in Huntsville, AL. You will architect, deploy, and scale DevSecOps infrastructure, automate CI/CD, and secure containerized workloads across AWS and Azure in a hybrid, regulated environment.

You will implement Terraform IaC, manage Kubernetes clusters, and embed security tooling into pipelines, supporting mission-critical software and complex deployments while collaborating with cyber engineers and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a STEM field with 12+ years of experience, or BA/BS with 20+ years of relevant work history.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Hands-on Terraform for complex IaC deployments.
Proficiency with Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience designing automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Windows Server administration and AD experience.
Knowledge of STIG analysis and security tooling integration.

Responsibilities

Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps with Kubernetes for high availability.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across platforms.
Administer IDDE across hybrid clouds (AWS and Azure) and manage AD/users.
Embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines and perform STIG evaluations.
Support delivery objectives and document infrastructure deployments.
