Job summary

Abacus Insights seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering for DevOps, Infrastructure, and Release Engineering to lead teams ensuring reliable, scalable SaaS delivery. You’ll own end-to-end release lifecycle from CI/CD to production, balancing people leadership with deep technical oversight of release systems and cloud platforms.

You will partner with Product, QE, Security, and Operations to minimize release friction, reduce risk, and accelerate value delivery while maintaining compliance and high

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• 5+ years managing engineering managers and senior tech teams.
• Hands-on with CI/CD for SaaS platforms and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, observability, and release engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps, infrastructure, and release engineering teams across geographies.
• Own release engineering strategy for frequent, reliable deployments.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with trunk-based flows and feature flags.
• Drive observability integration across CI/CD and releases (metrics, logs, traces).
• Partner with security/compliance and engineering leaders to ensure reliability and safety.
