Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. in California is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to evolve infrastructure powering our platform and enable the engineering team to ship continuously. You will own CI/CD pipelines, scale cloud infrastructure, and drive reliability across millions of transactions daily.

You bring deep experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Helm, plus strong communication. This on-site role offers a chance to influence architecture, security posture, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Experience with CI/CD and release automation.
• Terraform or similar IaC; multi-environment infra as code.
• GitOps workflow with ArgoCD or similar.
• GCP-focused cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Kubernetes operations at scale with monitoring.
• Helm for templated deployments across environments.
• Databases at scale (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems.
• Reliability with SLIs/SLOs and incident response.
• Security: IAM, secrets management, network policies.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the DevOps effort for a global engineering team and a platform supporting millions of transactions per day.
• Drive improvement across development process and tooling: source control, build, test, packaging, release, and deployment.
• Improve infrastructure configuration, management, and cost efficiency.
• Enhance monitoring and observability across all infrastructure and services.
• Partner with technical leaders to improve architecture's maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Serve as a technical lead to software and DevOps engineers on development and operations practices.
• Strengthen information security posture.
• Contribute to the team's development and operations standards and processes.
