Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to evolve our infrastructure, improve CI/CD, and keep engineering productive with scalable operations.

You will be the technical leader enabling our logistics platform to grow, with ownership of critical pipelines and cloud infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud. The role emphasizes large-scale Kubernetes, GitOps via ArgoCD, Helm templating, and secure, observable systems with cost-aware architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong CI/CD and automated release processes across multiple environments.
• Hands-on Terraform and multi-environment infrastructure management.
• GitOps workflows with declarative deployments and auditable changes.
• Cloud infrastructure at scale, especially GCP, with networking, IAM, and logging.
• Kubernetes production experience, cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, and observability.
• Proficient in Helm for templated deployments and reuse.
• Experience with diverse data stores and performance tuning.
• Proven reliability driven by SLIs/SLOs and incident response.
• Security-focused: IAM, secrets management, network policies.
• Bonus: Java release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps efforts for a global engineering team and platform handling millions of transactions daily.
• Drive improvements to source control, build, test, packaging, release, and deployment pipelines.
• Optimize infrastructure configuration, cost efficiency, and monitoring/observability.
• Lead architecture discussions to improve maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers on DevOps practices and security posture.
• Collaborate with leaders to strengthen security and compliance across platforms.
