Job summary

Jitsu, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to elevate our platform’s reliability and scalability. You will own critical parts of our global DevOps effort, improve release processes, and lead infrastructure modernization to support millions of daily transactions.

You will work with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps practices to build observable, cost-efficient systems while mentoring engineers and shaping our operating standards.

Qualifications

• CI/CD pipelines end-to-end with git-based source control and automated deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across staging, beta, production.
• GitOps workflow with ArgoCD for declarative deployments.
• Cloud infrastructure at scale on GCP: compute, VPC, storage, IAM, logging.
• Kubernetes at scale: cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, networking, ingress.
• Helm for templated deployments across environments.
• Databases at scale: PostgreSQL/CloudSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
• Reliability: SLIs/SLOs, actionable alerting, incident response.
• Security: IAM, secrets management, network policy.
• Bonus: Java application release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the DevOps effort for a global engineering team.
• Drive CI/CD improvements, source control, and release tooling.
• Improve infrastructure configuration, cost efficiency, and observability.
• Lead monitoring, performance, and incident response practices.
• Collaborate to improve architecture maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
• Mentor engineers on development and operations practices.
• Strengthen security posture across platforms and services.
