• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, and experience with ORM frameworks
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants and their strengths/limitations
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Hiring experience and a high bar for engineering talent
• Ability to balance competing priorities across people, delivery, and technical health

Responsabilidades

• Lead a small, high-performing agile engineering team (3–5 developers), owning delivery, software quality, and team effectiveness
• Manage and develop engineers through 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching
• Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent while fostering an inclusive culture
• Translate product strategy into delivery plans, define milestones, remove obstacles, and ensure execution against commitments
• Partner with Product Owners/Managers to prioritize work and balance customer value with technical excellence
• Remain hands-on technically, contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews, prototyping, and solving complex problems
• Lead technical decision-making across teams and influence architecture and engineering standards
• Plan, document, and communicate technical initiatives, status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
• Collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams to build, release, and operate high-quality software; improve CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality while promoting responsible adoption
• Own the operational health of the team's applications and services, resolving incidents and pipeline issues
• Foster a culture of innovation, psychological safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
