Job summary

Smartcat is seeking a seasoned VP-level DevOps and Infrastructure leader to manage and scale our DevOps and SRE teams globally. You will ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of staging and production environments, defining and enforcing best practices across CI/CD, IaC, and deployment strategies.

You will hire, coach, and develop engineers across regions, partnering with product and security to drive robust, secure development and fast, reliable releases.

Qualifications

• 3 years leading a team in a fast-growing multinational IT business.
• 5 years of experience in DevOps and SRE, maintaining high-RPS distributed products.
• Data-driven approach to justify decisions with metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and Infrastructure teams across regions and time zones.
• Enforce rigorous CI/CD testing and best SRE practices.
• Maintain availability of staging and production environments with disaster recovery plans.
• Strengthen hiring, provide expert technical guidance, and career development for team members.
• Act as interface between your team and other environment stakeholders.
