Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a skilled DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices platform in support of mission-focused programs in Bethesda, MD.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, strong Linux skills, and hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You will work across engineering, security, and operations to ensure scalable, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in related field.
• Strong Linux proficiency and containerized workload experience.
• Hands-on with containers, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture.
• Deploy and maintain production pipelines on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka.
• Enhance CI/CD processes and DevOps tooling across teams.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, security, and operations in an agile setting.
