Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC seeks a skilled DevOps engineer to support the NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform and D3P modernization. You will design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused environment.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka, and GitLab CI/CD, with collaboration across systems engineering, security, and operations. Candidates must hold TS/SCI and be able to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six years of experience in the field; three additional years may substitute for the degree.
Strong Linux proficiency.
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka.
Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.
Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments in support of new feature requirements.
Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions, and related meetings.
