Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC. seeks a DevOps Software Engineer to join a high-energy team supporting the DIA-NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform. You will build and deploy a modern tech stack as part of a 10-year program, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

The role requires strong Linux, containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD skills, with hands-on experience in big-data pipelines and cross-functional environments. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or 6+ years with a Master's
• Proficiency in Linux and containerized environments
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
• Ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams and Agile settings

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture.
• Support systems administration, installation, and configuration.
• Promote DevOps best practices across teams.
• Deploy and maintain a production big-data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Design scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments with Helm.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers on new capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering docs and diagrams.
• Participate in Agile release planning and related activities
