Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused environment. You will work on a Kubernetes-based pipeline with Elasticsearch and Kafka, and drive CI/CD and DevOps improvements.

The role involves collaborating with multiple teams, contributing to Agile release planning, and ensuring robust, scalable infrastructure. A TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required or readily achievable.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree with minimum six years of experience (or equivalent).
Strong Linux proficiency.
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Proven success in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes.
Enhance CI/CD scripts and DevOps processes.
Design, develop, and support scalable infrastructure.
Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features.
Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, and operations.
Participate in Agile release planning and related meetings.
