Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 12+ yrs exp in software dev or sys engineering.
• DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CCNA Sec, CISSP).
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) including Ingress, Helm charts, Pod disruption budgets, and external-secrets.
• GitLab CI/CD integration, code quality and coverage reports.
• Linux OS navigation, SELinux, FApolicyd, and sysctls in Kubernetes.
• Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana familiarity.
• Product Owner or Agile lead experience; backlog management and Scrum ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps team responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture.
• Perform systems administration, installation, and configuration.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, security, operations, and development teams.
• Deploy and maintain a production big data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps scripts for faster, resilient deployments.
• Design scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Collaborate with System Engineers to design new features and requirements.
• Own and prioritize the Agile team backlog and support SAFe Increment planning.
