Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team onsite at Fort Meade, MD. You will apply Kubernetes expertise, CI/CD, and cloud architecture to deliver scalable infrastructure and reliable deployments for mission-critical systems.

The role requires strong automation, scripting in Python/Bash, and experience with AWS services, Terraform, and Ansible. A DoD 8140/8570 compliant background and active clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering or software development with related degree, or 3+ years with a master's.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS EKS/EC2/EBS/S3/Lambda.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience deploying and managing scalable infrastructure and monitoring.
• Ability to code in Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and management (EKS).
• Assist non-cloud, edge on-premise infrastructure deployment.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud resources.
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate applications.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead or mentor engineering teams as needed.
