Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to advance our cloud and edge infrastructure. You will implement Kubernetes-based deployments, automate processes, and ensure reliability and scalability across AWS and on‑premise environments.

The role requires strong Bash/Python/Go scripting and experience with Terraform and Ansible. The position supports a Fort Meade, MD customer onsite with a focus on secure, scalable operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years DevOps or software development experience.
• Top Secret (TS) level clearance required, citizenship required.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficient with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of on‑premise and portable edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; ensure high availability.
