Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in a hybrid role with partial on-site work in Columbia, MD. You will leverage Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and automation to build scalable, reliable systems.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration, Python/Go programming, and experience with AWS services. A DoD 8140/8570 clearance or ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire is required, with a blend of edge and cloud

Qualifications

• Five or more years of DevOps engineering or software development experience.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (Security+ or equivalent) or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Hybrid work arrangement with on-site 1–2 days per week at Columbia, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure.
