Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team at Ft. Belvoir. The role requires strong Kubernetes, AWS, and scripting skills to automate deployment, manage cloud and edge infrastructure, and ensure reliability and scalability of services.

The ideal candidate has DoD 8140/8570 certifications or the ability to obtain them, is a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance, and can travel occasionally. Onsite work five days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a related bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a master’s.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI and U.S. citizen required.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or alternative container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS) and on-premise Edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes for reliable, scalable services.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate apps into infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems for high availability.
