Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in a hybrid environment (2-3 days per week in Columbia, MD).

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS), CI/CD automation, and scripting in Python/Bash/Go. Candidates should have 5+ years in DevOps or equivalent, DoD 8140/8570 readiness, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Five plus (5+) years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development
• Bachelor's degree in related field; or three (3) years with Masters; or High School Diploma with nine (9) years relevant experience.
• Must have DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (Security+) within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS
• Automate deployment processes and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and rapid scaling
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the operational infrastructure
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain high availability
• Continuously improve processes and tools to optimize system performance
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends
