Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Dallas to manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, automate deployments, and build scalable CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, implement security controls, and drive reliability across development, staging, and production environments. A Master’s degree and 2+ years of related experience are required, with up to 2 days of remote work per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field with two years of experience as a DevOps engineer or related role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, operations, security and production control teams to elicit technical requirements.
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, AMI, security groups).
• Automate deployment/config of AWS using Ansible/Terraform; support Kafka/IBM MQ messaging systems and ensure reliable data exchange.
• Design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Veracode, Sysdig, JFrog; deploy Docker apps across environments.
• Provide guidance to DevOps teams, implement security with least privilege and Vault, and plan failover/testing.
