Job summary

Ryan is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, an Internal Developer Portal (IDP), and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. The role blends software development with platform engineering to help teams build, test, and deploy software faster and more reliably.

You will contribute to scalable cloud architecture, self-service tooling, automation, and observability, standardizing delivery across the organization

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud/platform engineering.
• Experience from software development to cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years hands-on with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development expertise in Java and/or Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure networking, including serverless and managed services.
• Terraform and infrastructure as code expertise.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong DevSecOps knowledge.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Champion a DevOps culture focused on automation, continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal to provide self-service infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Enable golden paths for onboarding and reduce cognitive load for engineering teams.
• Integrate the IDP with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, identity management, and observability platforms.
• Maintain service catalogs, documentation standards, and ownership metadata.
• Continuously improve developer experience through platform enhancements.
• Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js applications.
• Build standardized deployment workflows across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Implement automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates within pipelines.
• Establish reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries to enforce best practices.
• Optimize build and deployment performance, reliability, and observability.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure using Terraform.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and enforce governance through policy-as-code.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate and introduce new tools and automation processes.
• Collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams.
