Job summary

Ryan is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement an automated CI/CD ecosystem, an Internal Developer Portal (IDP), and secure cloud networking across AWS/Azure and on-premises. The role blends software development with cloud infra, automation, and platform engineering to accelerate software delivery.

You will help standardize delivery, enable self-service tooling, and build scalable cloud architectures with a strong emphasis on security and observability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software eng/DevOps/cloud/platform engineering.
• 6+ years with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development experience in Java and/or Node.js.
• Extensive AWS/Azure experience including networking and serverless.
• Terraform and IaC proficiency.
• Designs scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Strong scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Git and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Champion automation-first DevOps culture and continuous improvement.
• Partner with dev teams to improve reliability and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infra.
• Integrate IDP with CI/CD, cloud infra, IAM and observability.
• Maintain service catalogs and governance metadata.
• Design and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, Node.js.
• Build standard deployment workflows across AWS/Azure.
• Implement automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates.
• Establish reusable templates and shared libraries for pipelines.
