Job summary

Ryan is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, Internal Developer Portal, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will blend software development with cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to help teams deploy faster and more reliably.

You will architect IDP integrations, automate pipelines, and enforce best practices for scalable, secure software delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Transition from software development to cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years hands-on CI/CD tooling (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development in Java and/or Node.js environments.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure networking and serverless.
• Terraform and IaC principles mastery.
• Designing scalable cloud-native architectures.
• SQL Server and Windows Server knowledge incl. Availability Groups.
• Scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and security-focused delivery.

Responsibilities

• Champion an automation-first DevOps culture with collaboration and transparency.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Enable golden paths to accelerate onboarding and reduce cognitive load for engineers.
• Integrate IDP with CI/CD, cloud infra, identity, and observability platforms.
• Maintain service catalogs and documentation standards; own metadata.
• Improve developer experience via platform enhancements and feedback.
• Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js apps.
• Standardize deployment workflows across AWS and Azure; add automated testing and security gates.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and libraries; optimize build and deployment performance.
