Veeva Systems is building an AI-first platform for life sciences, and as Principal DevOps Engineer you will help shape the product and engineering organization from the ground up. You will lead cloud architecture, implement end-to-end DevOps practices, and scale infrastructure to support live customers within the first year.

You will work in a flexible environment, caring for reliability, security, and developer productivity while mentoring engineers and collaborating across teams to accelerate

Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with distributed systems
Experience designing and running cloud-native architectures (AWS)
Strong mentoring and team-development experience

Responsibilities

Provide in-depth software engineering expertise in cloud architecture and design
Implement core DevOps practices: IaC, CI, automated deployments
Build and manage robust CI/CD workflows to automate full-lifecycle tasks
Provision, manage, and scale infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes
Drive architectural design and best practices across teams
Improve system reliability, availability, and performance
