Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fundraising or outside sales or work in a non-profit in a similar capacity.
• 3+ years in a management capacity; experience within AHA projects may substitute.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to groups and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement and fundraising across Chicago with an impact of $5 million.
• Prospect and secure local corporate sponsorships and individual donations.
• Guide and direct assigned staff to reach goals.
• Identify, recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership with year-round cultivation.
• Develop profiles on top businesses in Chicago with a plan to secure involvement.
• Implement event logistics based on national best practices.
• Collaborate with Communications Director to manage promotion/communications plan.
