Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Sr. Developer Relations Manager to shape and amplify the developer presence around Backblaze B2 and AI tooling. This remote US role collaborates with engineering, docs, content, and SE teams to build credibility and adoption among developers and their agents.

You'll lead cross-functional efforts, engage with open source communities, and establish a measurable developer strategy tied to platform growth and revenue impact.

Qualifications

• Proven DevRel leadership in cloud/AI tooling environments.
• Experience building/developing developer programs.
• Ability to read code, review SDKs, and discuss tradeoffs with engineers.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencer outreach.

Responsibilities

• Define developer strategy and establish Backblaze presence for agents and developers.
• Coordinate across engineering, docs, content, and SE teams to execute the strategy.
• Engage with developer communities (GitHub, open source, events) to build trust.
• Maintain a feedback loop from developers to product/engineering to surface needs.
• Define success metrics and drive adoption, activation, and revenue signals.
