Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT support professional at Offutt AFB, NE. You will install, configure and maintain information systems, provide end-user assistance, and monitor performance in secure, mission-focused environments.

The role requires 5+ years in technical support, ITIL v4 certification or progress toward it, and current or obtainable Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI potential. Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
• ITIL Foundations v4 or equivalent certification within 9 months.
• 8140 certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must hold or obtain Top Secret clearance; TS/SCI status possible.
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE; US citizenship required.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, systems software, and workstation tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain information systems and hardware in mission-critical environments.
• Support day-to-day IT operations, including repairs, patches, and hardware replacements.
• Provide end-user technical assistance for access, networking, applications and performance issues.
• Monitor system performance and escalate complex problems to engineering or cybersecurity teams as needed.
• Maintain AD accounts, group policies, permissions, and security-aligned configurations.
• Document troubleshooting steps and changes to ensure repeatable service delivery.
• Support deployments and integration of equipment, routers, servers, and software in restricted networks.
• Collaborate with operations, networking, cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure compliance.
