Volt is hiring a Desktop Support Lead for an on-site role in Overland Park, KS. The position is a full-time contract with responsibilities spanning PC/server troubleshooting, maintenance, OS support, and network assistance. Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, SCCM, Autopilot, and Active Directory is required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT support and can work in both remote and onsite environments. Strong hardware/telecom maintenance and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years IT support experience.
Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, SCCM, Autopilot, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor PCs and server systems.
Perform pre-emptive maintenance on telecom equipment and escalate unresolved issues.
Support multiple OS and respond to calls, messages, and emails about system or hardware issues.
Keep up with equipment and hardware contracts; deploy products to address business needs.
Assist in resolving network issues with the IT team and install new software.
Maintain inventory of peripherals and document hardware issues across OS versions (Windows/macOS/UNIX/Linux).
