Job summary

Volt is seeking a Desktop Support Lead in Overland Park, KS for a full-time contract role. The candidate will configure, troubleshoot, and monitor PCs and server systems, support multiple OSes, and coordinate with the IT team to address network issues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT support and proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, SCCM, Autopilot, and Active Directory, with remote and onsite experience. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and a 401(k).

Responsibilities

Perform pre-emptive maintenance on telecom equipment.
Support multiple OSes, WAN/LAN, and respond to incidents via phone, email, or messages.
Maintain hardware inventories and document issues.
Assist in deploying software and addressing network issues.
Create documentation for hardware issues and OS troubleshooting.
