Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver deskside and internal user support in a fast paced environment. You will diagnose hardware, software and network issues, install operating systems and software, perform routine maintenance and coordinate with the technical team for seamless service delivery.

Candidates should have a Diploma or higher in Computer Science/IT, at least 3 years hands-on IT support experience, experience with SCCM and ticketing systems,

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on IT support experience, deskside or end-user computing preferred.
• Experience with SCCM and a ticketing system is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based processes preferable.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication in English and Chinese, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal users for hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Install, set up and maintain desktop operating systems, software and peripheral devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updates and patches.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain tracking and inventory of all IT equipment.
• Take on ad-hoc assignments as needed.

• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain the tracking and inventory update of all IT equipment.
• Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned.

The Person:

• High Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, with a strong preference for deskside or end-user computing support.
• Experience in SCCM and a ticketing system is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based processes is preferable.
• Strong ability to analyse reported issues and findings for effective technical troubleshooting.
• Good team player, self-motivated, and good communication skills.
• Able to work independently under pressure.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
