Job summary

General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine is seeking a Desktop Technician II to provide senior-level end-user computing support across laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, printers, and peripherals. You will resolve complex hardware and OS issues and manage mobile devices and MDM policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Endpoint/Modern Desktop, or ITIL Foundation.

Responsibilities

Set up, image, and configure laptops, desktops, and peripherals per BIW build standards.
Administer mobile devices and MDM policies (enrollment, configuration, and policy changes).
Own portions of hardware deployment, device refresh, and OS rollout planning.
Provide after-hours and weekend on-call coverage on a rotation.
Document all work and maintain accurate records in the ITSM system.
Collaborate with Endpoint Engineering and other IT teams on projects and incidents.
