Job summary

Jackson-Dawson in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Desktop Support Technician II to join our IT team. This senior-level role focuses on end-to-end device lifecycle, imaging, provisioning, and serving as the on-site tech presence at client events.

You will work hands-on with Windows and macOS, Microsoft 365, Intune, and device mgmt across iOS devices. You’ll mentor Level I staff and ensure timely, high-quality resolutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years hands-on desktop support experience in a business environment.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11 and macOS in corporate settings.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Experience with Intune and Apple Business Manager for device management.
• Imaging and provisioning for Windows and Mac devices.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID familiarity.
• Support for iOS devices (iPad/iPhone).
• Able to work independently and manage ticket queues; good written communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex issues from Level I and drive resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware issues on Windows PCs and Macs, including peripherals.
• Install, configure, and optimize software on Windows and macOS; handle conflicts.
• Provide advanced Microsoft 365 support—mailbox config, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Lead end-to-end imaging and provisioning for Windows and Mac devices.
• Manage device enrollment, profiles, and policies in Intune and ABM.
• Lead hardware refresh cycles and asset record accuracy.
• Support iPads/iOS and Android devices; configure MDMs as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty/repair and document changes.
