Job summary

BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Deskside Support Technician for a full-time role primarily supporting City of Philadelphia facilities onsite. The position requires residence within commuting distance of Philadelphia, with limited remote work possible.

The candidate will provide high touch, in-person IT support to City Council members and staff at Philadelphia City Hall. The role emphasizes workstation setup, troubleshooting, and end-user support across City Hall and district offices,

Qualifications

Minimum 5–7 years of deskside or desktop support experience.
Strong customer service skills and experience supporting executive or government users.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite deskside support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and collaboration tools.
Perform workstation setup, configuration, upgrades, and data migration.
Respond to, resolve, and document service requests using the City approved ticketing system.
Support audiovisual and collaboration technology for City Council meetings and public hearings.
Deliver end-user training and technology refresher sessions.
Assist with RTK data collection support activities as required.
Execute transition in and transition out tasks under supervision.
Maintain accurate documentation of workstation builds, troubleshooting steps, and service resolutions.
