Job summary

BVA Bears IT Solutions in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Deskside Support Technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting City of Philadelphia facilities. You will provide high-touch, in-person IT support to City Council members and staff, handling workstation setup, troubleshooting, and end-user support across City Hall and district offices.

Qualifications

5–7 years of deskside or desktop support experience.
Strong customer service skills; experience supporting executive or government users.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite deskside support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and collaboration tools.
Perform workstation setup, configuration, upgrades, and data migration.
Respond to, resolve, and document service requests using the City-approved ticketing system.
Support audiovisual and collaboration technology for City Council meetings and public hearings.
Deliver end-user training and technology refresher sessions.
Assist with RTK data collection support activities as required.
Execute transition in and transition out tasks under the direction of the Project / Operations Manager.
Maintain accurate documentation of workstation builds, troubleshooting steps, and service resolutions.
