The role involves meeting clients, assessing their needs, and creating tailored design solutions. Minimum qualifications include a BA or AA in Interior Design or extensive experience in the field, alongside retail experience. The position offers a collaborative environment and pays starting at $16.78 hourly, reflective of experience, with various benefits including 401k and insurance options available.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of formal education.
• Combination of education and experience totaling 6 years.
• Prior retail/sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design team, providing seamless start-to-finish consultative design services.
• Meets with customers to understand their project needs and create design concepts.
• Builds and maintains relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Advises on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.
• Manages multiple projects with accuracy and timely communication.
